About PRC

PRC helps families residing in Richland County overcome immediate employment-related barriers. The goal is to help families achieve or maintain self-sufficiency.

Who Qualifies?

To be considered for PRC services:

Program applicants must be at least 18 years old, have at least one dependent minor child residing in the home, and meet income requirements.
The individual applying for assistance must be gainfully employed, have an employment offer, or be meeting Ohio Works First (OWF) work requirements.

What may be provided?

Short-term Education (tuition, books, etc)
Rent/mortgge assistance (eviction/foreclosure notice required)
Car Repair Assistance (current registration, license, insurance required)
Assistance w/ Utility Payments (disconnection required)
Uniforms, tools, and other hardware needed for individuals to maintain employment

What Do You Need to Apply for PRC Benefits?

Complete Application
Submit copies of four consecutive paystubs (if paid weekly) or two consecutive pay stubs (if paid bi-weekly)
Copies of Social Security cards for all members of the household
A 3-day eviction notice for rent assistance
A foreclosure letter for mortgage assistance
A utility disconnect notice for assistance with utilities
A copy of a valid driver's license, proof of current car insurance, and proof of current vehicle registration if requesting assistance with car repairs
