Richland County Job & Family Services History
It’s not just about being in tough times. As a part of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), we exist to fulfill a broad, state-wide vision:
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, through state and local partnerships, will be the nation's premier family support and workforce development system contributing to skilled, healthy Ohioans, successful businesses, and strong communities.
Richland County Job & Family Services invests in you by helping you obtain the basic education or job training you need to make a move in your life. We can also help you with job searches or in applying for federal micro-enterprise grants.
By the way, you may also see us referred to as “CDJFS.” This stands for “Community Department of Job and Family Services,” and represents our role as a local administrator of ODJFS.
