About NET

Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) is a statewide program administered by Richland County Job & Family Services for Medicaid eligible customers. NET provides transportation to and from appointments with Medicaid providers.

Who Qualifies?

NET services may be provided to:

• Customers eligible for and in receipt of a Medicaid insurance card
• Residents of Richland County
• Users of this service must be able to transfer from a wheelchair to a vehicle independently

What is included?

• Transportation authorization may be in the form of bus tickets, gas vouchers, or taxi

When should transportation requests be submitted?

• NET requests must be submitted 10 working days before transportation is needed
