The Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) program is designed to increase access to medical or counseling appointments for Medicaid eligible individuals.

Do I Qualify for NET?

Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) is a statewide program administered by Richland County Job & Family Services for Medicaid eligible customers. NET provides transportation to and from appointments with Medicaid providers. Transportation authorization may be in the form of bus tickets, gas vouchers, or taxi. NET requests must be submitted 10 working days before transportation is needed.

NET services to and from a medical appointment may be provided to:

  • Customers eligible for and in receipt of a Medicaid insurance card.
  • Residents of Richland County

Note: Customers must be able to transfer from a wheelchair to a vehicle independently.

  • Call 419-774-5470, option 6 (best and fastest) or
  • Submit a Non-Emergency Transportation Request, below

To Request Non-emergency Transportation:

  1. Print and fill out one of the following forms, based on your need:
  2. Return the form via:
    1. Fax: Fax your transportation request form to 419-522-1744.
    2. Email - Richland-Documents@jfs.ohio.gov.
    3. Mail: Transportation requests can also be mailed to the address below or
    4. Deliver in Person: Transportation requests can be submitted in person at Richland County Job & Family Services to:
