This year's Back to School Program has changed. The program will be a pre-approval process. You will not automatically receive a letter and application in the mail as in previous years.
The Back to School program provides clothing vouchers and bookbags to families with children who meet the specified eligibility criteria. To be eligible for the program, the families income cannot exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and children must be entering/enrolled grades K-12 during the 2024-2025 school year.
All applications will be submitted online during the period April 15, 2024 – May 03, 2024. The number of applications processed and children served will be contingent upon funding. Applications will be reviewed and processed in chronological order of submission. No applications will be considered if they are submitted outside the specified timeframe.
This year, there will not be a waiting list for the Back-to-School Program.
Applicants who are approved for the back-to-school voucher program will receive an approval notice in the mail and a letter outlining the distribution dates and instructions. Applicants who are denied due to ineligibility or lack of funding will receive a denial notice in the mail.
